There’s nothing like a major Football tournament to get some excellent advertisements.
Nike – Write the Future
Nike’s theme for the World Cup seems to be ‘Write the Future’. I first saw this a couple of months ago on billboards in Buenos Aires. They had the tagline ‘Escribamos Historia‘ in reference to their 1986 World Cup win.
This morning I saw a whirlwind of links on twitter for the latest TV ad featuring Rooney, Cannavaro, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Homer Simpson, Kobe Bryant, Gael García Bernal and many more. The short film is directed by Mexican director Alejandro Inarritu and is a 3 minute epic. Sit back and enjoy!
